After breakfast, you’ll embark on a thrilling game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most famous parks for wildlife viewing. The park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, including savannah, wetlands, and forests, which support a wide range of animals. You’ll have the chance to spot classic African wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kob, and warthogs.
Queen Elizabeth is also a fantastic destination for bird watching, with over 600 species recorded, including the rare Shoebill Stork, African Fish Eagle, and various species of vultures.
In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is home to large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species, including the Malachite Kingfisher, Yellow-billed Stork, and more.
In the evening, you’ll return to your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy dinner. You might also choose to join an optional evening game drive or nature walk to experience the park in a different light.

After breakfast, you'll head to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This sector is well-known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse bird species. You'll enjoy a game drive to spot these unique lions lounging in the fig trees. In addition, you’ll have the chance to observe other animals such as elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species. The birdlife here is also rich, with species like the White-winged Tern, Lilac-breasted Roller, and the African Fish Eagle. Afterward, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful night’s rest.

This day, after breakfast, you'll begin your drive towards Buhoma in the northern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful scenery and birdwatching stops. Bwindi is renowned for its dense forest and is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. You'll get the opportunity to explore the area and prepare for your trek the following day. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge in Buhoma.

Today, you’ll embark on the Nkuringo Trail across Bwindi, where you’ll traverse through the forest and enjoy a variety of bird species and primates. Your trek will take you through one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world. You'll have the chance to spot species like the African Green Broadbill, Bar-tailed Trogon, and the Black Bee-Eater. The trail also offers stunning views of the forest and surrounding valleys.
Accommodation: Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.

On this day, you’ll head to the Rushaga Sector, which is famous for its gorilla trekking opportunities. You will also explore the Buniga and Nombe Forest areas, where you'll experience the diverse flora and fauna of the park. Birding is excellent in these areas, with the chance to spot species like the Blue-headed Coucal, Forest Robin, and the Mountain Gorilla.

This is the highlight of your Uganda adventure—the gorilla trek! After breakfast, you’ll head to the designated gorilla group for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to track and interact with the mountain gorillas. A ranger guide will take you deep into the forest where you’ll observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Afterward, if time allows, you can also enjoy a scenic forest walking trail to explore Bwindi’s diverse flora and fauna.

After your gorilla trek, you'll drive to Lake Mburo National Park, making a stop at Echuya Forest for birdwatching. Echuya Forest is home to several unique bird species, including the White-headed Wood Hoopoe, Collared Pratincole, and the African Hobby. Afterward, continue your journey to Lake Mburo, where you'll enjoy a boat ride on the lake, spotting wildlife and more bird species along the shores.

Today, you’ll spend the whole day exploring Lake Mburo National Park. This park is famous for its large population of zebras and is also one of the best places to spot elands and other savannah wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park to spot wildlife, including antelope, buffaloes, and giraffes. Birdwatching opportunities are plentiful, with species such as the Shoebill, Papyrus Gonolek, and African Fish Eagle.

On the final day of your safari, you’ll have a morning game drive to catch a last glimpse of Lake Mburo's wildlife and birdlife. Afterward, drive back to Entebbe for your departure. You’ll have some time for last-minute shopping or relaxing before your flight.
