Overview
This 4-day adventure safari takes you to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to hike Mount Muhabura (4,127m), the third-highest of the Virunga Mountains. It is the easiest to climb, yet still challenging, rewarding hikers with stunning views of the other Virunga volcanoes, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. At the summit, you’ll find a crater lake and panoramic views of Twin Lakes Ruhondo and Burera.
Apart from hiking, this safari includes a visit to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest freshwater lake, where you can enjoy boat rides, bird watching, cultural encounters, and more.
