In this 3 days short safari, you will visit Uganda’s oldest and largest national park, Murchison Falls National Park, locally known as Kabalega National Park, located in north-western Uganda. The park boasts being one of the most visited Uganda Safari destinations because of its magnificent Murchison falls that squeeze through a narrow gorge on the Nile river which divides the park into the northern and southern banks, the park boasts savanna grass land covers that is a habitat to a variety of wildlife species like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards though spotted occasionally, Nile crocodiles, Hippos Hyenas, Ugandan Kobs, bushbucks, warthogs, giraffes, hartebeest, chimpanzees, olive baboons, blue monkeys.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls
On this first day of your adventurous Safari, our company representative will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala/Residence or at the Entebbe International Airport after breakfast, he will shortly brief you about the safari and start your journey to Murchison falls National Park via Luwero. The first stop over will be at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhinoceros tracking both the white and black rhinos. After embarking on your journey where you will have lunch served in Masindi. On reaching the park you will be welcomed by the park’s wildlife like warthogs, baboons, monkeys and more others. You will just drive to the falls and watch the water squeeze through 8m narrow gorge of rocks and fall to make the magnificent Murchison falls with an amazing thunderous row.
On reaching the top of the falls, you will witness that the ground seems to be sharking because of the heavy fall of the water, this feeling is very rewarding and worth the experience. After head to the lodge for dinner and night stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile
If you wake up earlier than usual for a morning breakfast and then head to the park for a morning game drive, which is the best time and way to watch wildlife in the park, the morning game drive is the most effective among the game drives as the animals come out of their hiding to grab a morning meal. You will be in position to spot wildlife like buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, birds, antelopes, water bucks, lions among others. After the drive, head back to the lodge for refreshments and have an early lunch break. After lunch drive to the shores of Nile for a boat cruise along the Nile, the cruise is very relaxing, calm and also offering you more opportunities to watch more wild animals like Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants and different bird species singing in the trees like the shoebill, colored kingfisher, Bee eaters etc. the cruise will take you up to the bottom of the Murchison falls to clearly view the falls. After the cruise you will hike up to the top of the falls and meet your driver and off to the lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 3: Departure to Kampala

A stop over at Masindi for lunch and en-route to Kampala where your guide driver will drop you at either a hotel in Kampala/residence or at the Airport to catch a flight home depending on your flight schedule.
