3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park

This 3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most rewarding trips taking you to Uganda’s most visited National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park famously known for its name derived from the late Queen Elizabeth II of England and also its tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in the western part of Uganda approximately 376 km from Kampala via the Masaka-Mbarara highway. The park boasts being home to a variety of wildlife with over 100 mammal species, 606 record bird species, chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge, monkeys in Maramagambo forest, the ecosystem, vegetation cover, water bodies lake the famous Kazinga channel that connects like Albert to Lake Gorge and its also home to a number of Nile crocodiles.

Day 1: Kampala- Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a very early breakfast on the first 3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will be picked up by our company representative who is also your English speaking guide driver from a hotel in Kampala/ residence, you will be briefed on how the safari will run and start your 6-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Masaka-Mbarara highway. Your first stop over will be at the Equator in Masaka, carry out some experiments, visit local markets and take as many photos as possible.The second stop will be in Mbarara for a lunch break and then proceed straight to the park, driving through the open savannah grasslands, tea plantations, spotting the Ankole longhorn cattle, elephants, monkeys etc

On your way into the park. When reaching the park, you’ll go for an evening game drive that offers you a chance to spot lions, elephants, leopards where you’re lucky enough, Buffaloes among others. Head to the lodge of your choice, check in and have dinner and a night rest.

Day 2: Game drive and Boat Cruise

On the second day 3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park, Very early in the morning you will wake up and head for a morning game drive which is the most rewarding as wildlife come out of their hidings to grab a morning meal before the sun comes out, you will spot wildlife like Uganda Kob, Elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, lions, leopards as well as the various bird species. After the drive, retreat to the lodge for a late breakfast and an early lunch. After lunch in the afternoon you will cruise on the Kazinga Channel while spotting more wildlife like Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants, warthogs on the shores of the channel as they quench their thirst and the various bird species like Pink backed pelicans, Malachite Kingfisher to mention but a few. After the 2 hours of cruising, head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight rest.

Day 3: Departure to Kampala

After a heavy breakfast, carry your memories of the past two days in Queen Elizabeth National Park and check out of the lodge, you will go for a primate walk in the park. Have a lunch break and start your journey back to Kampala, where you will have a stopover to see where drums are made by locals in local fabrics at the Mpambire drum center. After driving straight to Kampala, your guide driver will drop you off at your destination either at a hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe or at the airport to catch your flight back home, this marks the end of 3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park.
